Husson University requires all Undergraduate students taking 9 or more credit hours per semester, or Graduate students taking 6 or more credit hours per semester to maintain health insurance coverage either through this Student Health Insurance Plan or through another individual or family plan throughout the academic year. Students are automatically billed by the University for the student health insurance. Students who know they want/need to enroll in the Husson University Student Health Insurance Plan should complete the steps for Enrollment here as soon as possible to assure access to your ID card and the benefits on the policy effective date, 8/1/2024. Students who take no action, will be enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan upon the enroll/waiver deadline, September 10, 2024. Husson University requires all Undergraduate students taking 9 or more credit hours per semester, or Graduate students taking 6 or more credit hours per semester to maintain health insurance coverage either through this Student Health Insurance Plan or through another individual or family plan throughout the academic year. Students are automatically billed by the University for the student health insurance. Students with comparable coverage who want to request a waiver of the Student Health Insurance Plan must provide proof of comparable coverage by completing the waiver process and uploading a pdf or jpeg file of the front and back of your current health insurance ID Card. A waiver is considered approved upon the receipt of the “Waiver Approved” confirmation email. The waiver status is also shown in the student’s Wellfleet online account. Students who take no action, or whose waiver request is declined will be enrolled in the Student Health Insurance Plan upon the enroll/waiver deadline, September 10, 2024.
